Visited only from the outside ... I can't wait to see the internal areas but I'm more than sure it's worth it.

Il Museo del Ferro è una tappa della Via del ferro e delle miniere in Valle Trompia che documenta le diverse fasi della lavorazione, dall’estrazione, alla fusione e alla forgiatura del ferro.
One of the headquarters of MUSIL, the museum of industry and work. Interesting site of industrial archeology, formerly the headquarters of Fucina Caccagni. The Iron Museum is a stop on the Via del Ferro and the mines in Valle Trompia that documents the different stages of processing, from extraction, to casting and forging iron.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Luogo molto suggestivo, ripercorre l'uso delle mole, dei magli ed artigianato locale di qualche secolo fino ai giorni nostri. È in via di ristrutturazione perché diventi un po' più fruibile. Quindi per ora do 3 stelle anche se meriterebbe di più. Una grossa pecca invece è il parcheggio che manca, bisogna parcheggiare sulla strada accanto alle recinzioni di altre case.
A very suggestive place, it traces the use of grinding wheels, hammers and local crafts from a few centuries up to the present day. It is being renovated so that it becomes a little more usable. So for now I give 3 stars even if it deserves more. A big flaw is the parking lot that is missing, you have to park on the street next to the fences of other houses.
