Qui aveva scelto di prendere casa il pittore spagnolo Ortega, in esilio dal suo paese. Il museo offre la possibilità di vedere alcune sue opere realizzate su supporto di cartapesta. A noi è capitata la fortuna di incontrare il medico di Bosco (ora in pensione, gestore del Piè d'Ulivo Country House) amico del pittore scomparso nel '90. Ci ha aperto l'abitazione dell'artista regalandoci una visita guidata inaspettata e indimenticabile. Perchè non le 5 stelle? Solo perchè si è trattato di un colpo di fortuna, e non di un servizio organizzato. Un altro esempio di quanto il Cilento avrebbe da offrire, ma che rimane nascosto nell'entroterra. Bosco is an unmissable location on the Gulf of Policastro, at the foot of Mount Bulgheria. Here the Spanish painter Ortega, in exile from his country, had chosen to take home. The museum offers the opportunity to see some of his works made on paper mache support. We were lucky enough to meet Bosco's doctor (now retired, manager of the Piè d'Ulivo Country House), a friend of the painter who died in '90. He opened the artist's home to us, giving us an unexpected and unforgettable guided tour. Why not 5 stars? Only because it was a stroke of luck, and not an organized service. Another example of what Cilento has to offer, but which remains hidden in the hinterland.

Mi è dispiaciuto non essere riuscita a visitare la casa di Ortega. Già bellissima esternamente. Vale più che la pena!!! Very interesting. Complimenti al custode che oltre alla visione del museo ci ha illustrato (con la visone del paese a piedi) la vita quotidiana di ORTEGA nella piccola cittadina. Nel museo si trovano le opere che ha realizzato Ortega dal momento in cui si trasferì a Bosco: quadri rappresentanti la vita dei braccianti (in stile "Picasso"), opere in cartapesta, i suoi manifesti (a dir poco meravigliosi). Abbiamo visitato il posto pochi giorni fa e le precauzioni per il COVID-19 sono più che adeguate. A small but wonderful museum. Admission costs only € 2, so anyone who passes by Bosco pay attention to this place. In the museum you can find the works that Ortega has created since he moved to Bosco: paintings representing the life of laborers (in "Picasso" style), papier-mâché works, his posters (nothing short of wonderful). We visited the place a few days ago and the precautions for COVID-19 are more than adequate.

Do' una stella per il fatto che sabato 2 aprile malgrado avessero pubblicizzato l'apertura era tristemente chiuso. Non è la prima volta che mi capita di portare altre persone e trovare chiuso in giornate di annunciate come di apertura. Le cose o si fanno o non si fanno. The museum, seen on another occasion, is beautiful and deserves. I give a star for the fact that Saturday 2 April despite having advertised the opening was sadly closed. It is not the first time that I happen to bring other people and find closed on days announced as opening. Things are either done or not done.
