Siamo andati con i due nipoti di 8 e 13 anni che hanno seguito con interesse Francesco che ci ha guidato nella visita anche all'aperto. Bello il planetario dove abbiamo potuto vedere anche un interessante filmato. Tutti ok! Interesting and well structured museum. We went with the two grandchildren aged 8 and 13 who followed Francesco with interest who guided us in the visit also outdoors. Nice planetarium where we could also see an interesting movie. All ok!

Esperienza che lascia scossi nel profondo. Giuseppe, la nostra eccellente guida, ci ha accompagnato lungo il percorso museale con grande sensibilità e capacità, e per questo lo ringraziamo. Consiglio la visita a tutti avvisando tuttavia che trattasi di materia forte ma che va assolutamente conosciuta. Si può proseguire la visita con una breve sosta al planetario, interessante ma soprattutto necessaria ad alleviare l'anima, dopo la crudezza del museo della Zolfara. Museum that collects testimonies of a painful and infamous page of Sicily made of a tremendous human exploitation and in particular of children up to reach levels that would make death prefer. Experience that leaves deeply shaken. Giuseppe, our excellent guide, accompanied us along the museum itinerary with great sensitivity and ability, and for this we thank him. I recommend the visit to everyone, however, warning that it is a matter of strong substance but that it must be absolutely known. You can continue the visit with a brief stop at the planetarium, interesting but above all necessary to relieve the soul, after the crudeness of the Zolfara museum.
A	Antonino Di Caccamo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Un pomeriggio molto particolare, ripercorrendo la storia delle zolfare siciliane, usi e tradizioni di un triste periodo di storia. Accompagnati da un preparatissimo e gentilissimo Francesco, abbiamo scoperto il metodo di estrazione e fusione dello zolfo. Successivamente abbiamo girato il planetario e l'osservatorio astronomico sino a tarda sera, con visione notturna della Luna e di Giove. Una bellissima esperienza. A very special afternoon, retracing the history of Sicilian sulfur mines, customs and traditions of a sad period of history. Accompanied by a very well prepared and kind Francesco, we discovered the method of extraction and fusion of sulfur. Then we toured the planetarium and the astronomical observatory until late in the evening, with a night vision of the Moon and Jupiter. A beautiful experience.

Museo ben fatto, con fotografie e plastici che riproducono le realtà della miniera con precisa descrizione dei soggetti e dei vari ruoli (Carùsi, picconatori, arditore ed altro). Esperienza unica la possibilità di visitare quello che rimane della discenteria e dei forni di zolfo. Visita da inserire in ogni percorso didattico di Storia dalle elementari alle scuole di 1 e 2 grado. Complimenti. Beautiful story of the history of the sulfur miners conducted by volunteers who hand down a story ... Well done museum, with photographs and models that reproduce the realities of the mine with precise description of the subjects and the various roles (Carùsi, pickaxers, ardor and more). Unique experience the possibility of visiting what remains of the discentery and the sulfur ovens. Visit to be included in any educational path of History from elementary to 1st and 2nd grade schools. Compliments.
