Gli allestimenti hanno ricreato gli ambienti rurali con molta attenzione. I pannelli esplicativi completano con dovizia di particolari l'esposizione. Il museo è posto all'interno di un ex convento e questo ne aumenta il suo fascino. Un grazie particolare va al sig. Rocco Distefano, uno degli allestitori e memoria storica del museo, che ci ha accompagnato e fatto rivivere luoghi e cose. Un grande grazie anche all'avv. D'Alessandro che, nonostante fosse domenica, è stata la nostra guida appassionata e preparata. Un museo che vale davvero la pena conoscere e che dovrebbe essere visitato anche e soprattutto dalle scolaresche che avrebbero tanto da imparare one of the best ethno-anthropological and natural science museums that I have visited in Sicily. Vengono riprodotti fedelmente i luoghi, gli ambienti, le tradizioni, gli strumenti della civiltà contadina dei primi del novecento e tanto, tanto altro ancora. Consiglio vivamente la visita, guidata egregiamente da giovani volontari preparati e appassionati. The museum is housed in a beautiful structure, a former Franciscan convent renovated a few years ago. The places, environments, traditions, tools of the peasant civilization of the early twentieth century and much, much more are faithfully reproduced. I highly recommend the visit, guided very well by trained and passionate young volunteers.

È un viaggio, attraverso i reperti conservati, nel mondo della civiltà contadina e delle arti artigianali ricostruite con sapiente maestria e con i materiali recuperati nelle stanze adibite a "botteghe". Nei piani superiori si può godere di una collezione di esemplai faunistici ed esemplari di flora. La visita si completa in una pinacoteca e di ambienti impreziositi da affreschi. Da rivisitare. The Civic Museum of Niscemi develops inside the former Convent of the Franciscan Minor Friars. It is a journey, through the preserved artifacts, into the world of peasant civilization and artisan arts reconstructed with skilful mastery and with materials recovered in the rooms used as "shops". On the upper floors you can enjoy a collection of fauna and flora. The visit is completed in a picture gallery and rooms embellished with frescoes. To be revisited.

Curato nei particolari, con pezzi antichi difficilmente reperibili da altre parti, riassume la storia delle nostra vecchia Sicilia. Veramente una bellissima scoperta e complimenti a chi lo ha ideato e costruito. A friend tells me: I have to show you a nice museum, the most beautiful of its kind!
