★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A Castignano ha sede un piccolo gioiello di museo di arte sacra, nella parrocchiale dei SS. Pietro e Paolo del sec. XIV in elevata posizione.
All’interno una bellissima collezione di arte sacra, dai crocefissi ai reliquiari fino a sculture e quadri esposti in diverse sale e piani, nella cripta affreschi della scuola di Carlo e Vittore Crivelli.
Il museo è aperto solo durante il periodo estivo per 2 ore al giorno, durante il festival templare anche durante la sera, a pochi km da Ascoli.
In Castignano there is a small jewel of a museum of sacred art, in the parish church of SS. Peter and Paul of the century XIV in high position.
Inside a beautiful collection of sacred art, from crucifixes to reliquaries to sculptures and paintings exhibited in different rooms and floors, in the crypt frescoes from the school of Carlo and Vittore Crivelli.
The museum is only open during the summer for 2 hours a day, during the Templar festival even during the evening, a few km from Ascoli.
