Consigliato l'acquisto della Fratta card,che a un prezzo veramente accessibile permette di visitare (nell'arco di un mese,se non sbaglio) anche la villa nella quale è ospitato il museo e la casa di Giacomo Matteotti.

Recommended for the purchase of the Fratta card, which at a really affordable price allows you to visit (within a month, if I'm not mistaken) also the villa where the museum is housed and Giacomo Matteotti's house.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stupendo museo sull'inserimento dell'età del bronzo recente/finale di frattesina. Al piano inferiore i reperti dell'abitato al superiore quelli della necropoli con relativi corredi.
Superb museum on the inclusion of the recent / final bronze age of frattesina. On the lower floor of the town the findings to the upper ones of the necropolis with relative kits.

The museum, housed in one of the barchesse of Villa Badoer, collects artifacts found in Frattesina, an ancient settlement of the Bronze Age in the territory of today's Fratta Polesine. Friendly and helpful staff: we enjoyed a fantastic guided tour and what's more, free. A little gem, go there!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Magnifico pomeriggio passato al museo di Fratta Polesine nel quale sono esposti ritrovamenti di rara bellezza che interessano il periodo relativo al bronzo finale.
La sala superiore offre poi un'interessante esposizione di vasi biconici per incenerazione con corredi annessi. Il tutto in una cornice di straordinaria bellezza, quella di Villa Badoer.
Magnificent afternoon spent at the museum of Fratta Polesine in which finds of rare beauty concerning the period relating to the final bronze are exhibited.
The upper room also offers an interesting display of biconical vessels for incineration with attached furnishings. All in a setting of extraordinary beauty, that of Villa Badoer.

Articolato su due piani, il primo piano ricostruisce il panorama dei sistemi abitativi in area veneta durante l’età del bronzo, ponendo poi particolare accento alle ricerche che si svolsero negli anni 70 a Frattesina, un antico insediamento para-terramaricolo ubicato a nord dell’attuale corso del fiume Pò. Al piano superiore si trovano invece le teche che espongono gli oggetti rinvenuti nelle due necropoli attigue all’ insediamento. Si tratta di un sito di importanza capitale per via dei traffici che lo videro come hub commerciale di primo piano durante le fasi finali dell’età del bronzo. Se ciò non bastasse, la signora all’ingresso, preparatissima, è sempre disponibile ad offrirvi informazioni che renderanno completa la visita. Andateci, non ve ne pentirete!
The museum is just great! Spread over two floors, the first floor reconstructs the panorama of the housing systems in the Veneto area during the Bronze Age, then placing particular emphasis on the research that took place in the 1970s in Frattesina, an ancient para-terramaric settlement located north of the current course of the river Pò. Upstairs are the display cases that display the objects found in the two necropolises adjacent to the settlement. It is a site of capital importance due to the traffic that saw it as a leading commercial hub during the final stages of the Bronze Age. If this were not enough, the lady at the entrance, very well prepared, is always available to offer you information that will make your visit complete. Go there, you won't regret it!
