★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fascinating and beautifully arranged exhibits based in an old medical monastery with modern exhit space. Excavations showing Bronze Age Grecian Roman etc under monastery. Really worth a visit and one of the highlights of our trip to Bari. Huge number of artefacts from many eras but not overwhelming.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Definitely must see in Bari. Huge collection stretching from prehistory to Roman times, with some middle ages accents. Easy to move around with descriptions in Italian and English. Love it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This city has special charm and magic. Everything is renovated in the historical part and ancient monuments are impresive. People here are authentic and very dynamic. Food is the best on the world and street food has good wuality for very good oroce. Parking is problem but no so big to rezignate for visiting this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent archeological Museum. Unfortunately at the moment, museum is under renovation and only small part of its collection is available for the public but anyway it is worth for visit. Three ancient hoplite's helmets are in permanent exhibition. Visitors are allowed to take non commercial photo without flash light and tripod.

Very modern, up to date, not too much information, but you get the general idea of historical evolution in and around the city. The position of the museum is mindblowing and it is a nice example of how old building can be brought back to life and how to be incorporated in the exhibition. I recommend it!
