I biologi all'interno della struttura vi guideranno in un viaggio di conoscenze e saperi della vita del mare delle problematiche legate al mondo Marino. Tutto questo tra i vari padiglioni del museo e potrete visitare anche il laboratorio di soccorso delle tartarughe marine. Quando sono stato in visita c'era una tartaruga di grosse dimensioni a cui avevano dovuto amputarle un arto a causa di una rete in cui era rimasta impigliata. È una ottima visita per tutti ma soprattutto per le famiglie con bambini, che avranno molto da imparare. Thanks to the generous initiative of some marine biologists and technicians, this museum of fishing and the sea lives. The biologists inside the structure will guide you on a journey of knowledge and knowledge of sea life and problems related to the marine world. All this between the various pavilions of the museum and you can also visit the sea turtle rescue laboratory. When I visited there was a large tortoise that had had its limb amputated due to a net in which it had become entangled. It is a great visit for everyone but especially for families with children, who will have a lot to learn.

C’è inoltre una parte di cura, dove si entra in contatto con gli animali ricoverati che coinvolge i visitatori emotivamente. Infine Stefania con la passione che trasmette nel fare il suo lavoro ci ha stimolato ad avere cura del nostro ambiente. Sicuramente da visitare, sopratutto in famiglia!!! It is a complete place !!!! It has an informative part, which allowed us to get to know the marine animals of the area: from the tiny plankton to the sperm whale. There is also a part of care, where you come into contact with hospitalized animals that involves visitors emotionally. Finally Stefania with the passion she transmits in doing her job has stimulated us to take care of our environment. Definitely to visit, especially with the family !!!

Grazie alla biologa marina (e a tutto il team )per la passione che ci ha trasmesso in ogni spiegazione , in ogni racconto e per averci condotto in un ' incredibile viaggio. Attraverso gli allestimenti ci avete reso coprotagonisti del vostro incessante lavoro:i controlli della qualità dei mari, il salvataggio degli animali marini, la ricerca delle specie endemiche e la tutela della biodiversita' marina ! Grazie per aver reso il nostro bambino Federico piu' consapevole dell'incredibile patrimonio marino della sua regione. Osservare la piccola tartaruga marina, ospite del vostro centro di recupero, nel tentativo di nutrirsi di sardine , dopo essere stata salvata da un' occlusione intestinale da ingestione di plastica, e' stato emozionante!La vostra dedizione assoluta che va al di là del lavoro , e' un esempio e motivo di orgoglio per la Calabria , ed e' un tesoro che questa regione cela ma che desideriamo condividere con più persone. m	mario scozzafava on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Luogo fantastico per esplorare e fare esperienza pratica di come ci si prende cura degli animali marini, in questo periodo ci sono 10 tartarughe marine soccorse dagli ami dei pescatori di tonno, palloncini e plastiche varie inghiottite al loro interno. Gli animali vengono operati nei casi più urgenti e dopo reinserite nel loro abitat naturale. Luogo da visitare anche se già visitato perché gli animali sono diversi a secondo il periodo, lo consiglio a grandi e piccini. Fantastic place to explore and get practical experience of how to take care of marine animals, in this period there are 10 sea turtles rescued from the hooks of tuna fishermen, balloons and various plastics swallowed inside them. The animals are operated on in the most urgent cases and then returned to their natural habitat. Attraverso il percorso si entra in contatto con l' esperienza lavorativa della biologa marina e della sua equipe: la salvaguardia delle specie marine endemiche , la conoscenza della biodiversità marine, il salvataggio e la cura delle tartarughe marine e dei siti dove depositano le proprie uova. I bambini si sono entusiasmati a dare da mangiare alle tartarughe marine del centro di recupero e ad osservare al microscopio i microrganismi marini. Una realtà di impegno e dedizione per la tutela delle ricchezze naturali del territorio! Visiting the mupem is an exciting experience for adults and especially for children! Through the path you come into contact with the work experience of the marine biologist and her team: the protection of endemic marine species, the knowledge of marine biodiversity, the rescue and care of sea turtles and the sites where they deposit their eggs.
