Ma mio malgrado devo fare un inciso:non riesco a mangiare un po' di pesce fresco, se non costretto a spostarmi nei comuni limitrofi. Pertanto invito il sindaco che già messo in campo tante idee innovative a colmare questa lacuna, in quanto il comune inerente non ha nulla da invidiare ai paesi circostanti in merito al pescato. Tra l'altro non è possibile venire in vancanza in un luogo balneare senza mangiare prodotti del mare. E' da tempo sede municipale del Comune di Crucoli. Un tempo fu un monastero dei frati appartenenti all'ordine dei predicatori Minimi dei D'Aquino e divenne residenza privata tra la fine del Settecento e gli inizi dell'Ottocento epoca alla quale appartengono gli affreschi, da poco restaurati (1999), posti sul soffitto di alcune sale tra le quali quella consiliare. Il palazzo ha subito tra il 1996 ed il 1999 dei lavori di ristrutturazione interna che lo hanno riportato all'originario splendore. The historic building called "Palazzo Palopoli" takes its name from the family that inhabited it and owned it. It has long been the municipal seat of the Municipality of Crucoli. Once it was a monastery of the friars belonging to the order of the preachers Minimi dei D'Aquino and became a private residence between the late eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries to which belong the frescoes, recently restored (1999), placed on the ceiling of some rooms including the council chamber. Between 1996 and 1999 the building underwent internal renovations that brought it back to its original splendor.
