Sono presenti inoltre i resti di una antica fortezza, che in passato sono stati recuperati grazie a fondi regionali e poi lasciati in quasi completo abbandono. La strada battuta d'accesso è stata ripulita dalle erbacce, lei sola, perché il resto dei piazzali, dei punti sosta e delle mura sono preda della macchia e dei rovi. Peccato, un paese che ha a disposizione un simile tesoro e lo lascia andare in malora dopo avervi investito soldi pubblici, è evidentemente incapace di amministrare il territorio. Inoltre, nel luogo stesso di memorie storiche è stata allestita una enorme croce bianca di discutibile gusto e ostentatamente fuori contesto. Disappointing. In addition, a huge white cross of questionable taste and ostentatiously out of context was set up in the very place of historical memories.
