E	Eternimous on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gli ambienti destinati alla Biblioteca furono due grandi sale poste al primo piano e riadattate su progetto dell'architetto veronese Paolo Pozzo. In onore dell'imperatrice Maria Teresa d'Austria furono chiamate prima e seconda teresiana. Le grandi scaffalature in noce, inizialmente realizzate solo per la prima sala (nella seconda verranno installate nel 1818) si ispiravano allo stile di Fischer von Erlach, architetto della Hofbibliothek di Vienna (1726). The rooms intended for the Library were two large rooms located on the first floor and adapted to a project by the Veronese architect Paolo Pozzo. In honor of the Empress Maria Theresa of Austria they were called first and second Teresian. The large walnut shelves, initially built only for the first room (in the second they will be installed in 1818) were inspired by the style of Fischer von Erlach, architect of the Hofbibliothek in Vienna (1726).

Siamo venute apposta da Modena per visitare la biblioteca in occasione della mostra “Un Sedicesimo” e la persona che ci ha accompagnato, visibilmente scocciata, ci ha messo molta fretta durante la visita. Se ospitate una mostra all’interno della biblioteca dovete mettere in conto di lasciare il tempo alle persone di fruirla con tranquillità. Aggiornamento per rispondere al commento della proprietà: Il giorno della visita era venerdì 2 luglio, e siamo uscite dalla mostra alle ore 11:30. Non so quali altri dettagli poter fornire se non che la persona che ci ha accompagnato, una signora di mezza età, dava l’impressione di essere scocciata che ci soffermassimo a guardare ogni volume esposto, e ci ha poi confermato la sensazione con un: “ok però adesso andiamo” quando ci rimanevano ancora 5 o 6 riviste da visionare. The library is splendid, but unfortunately the same cannot be said for the staff. We came from Modena on purpose to visit the library on the occasion of the “Un Sedicesimo” exhibition and the person who accompanied us, visibly annoyed, put us in a great hurry during the visit. If you host an exhibition in the library, you must consider allowing people time to enjoy it with peace of mind. Update to reply to property comment: The day of the visit was Friday, July 2, and we left the exhibition at 11:30 am. I don't know what other details I can provide except that the person who accompanied us, a middle-aged lady, gave the impression of being annoyed that we stopped to look at each volume on display, and then confirmed the sensation with a: " ok but now let's go ”when we still had 5 or 6 magazines left to view.
O	Oronzo Cosola on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bisogna innanzitutto ringraziare il personale preposto, che svolge due funzioni e si presta con molta gentilezza e competenza ad accompagnate i visitatori. La due sale antiche impongono una visita non lunga, ma vi arricchirà sia scoprendo l'importanza che già si dava ai libri ai tempi di Maria Teresa.....sia osservando i numerosi globi terrestri e celesti. First of all, we must thank the staff in charge, who performs two functions and lends themselves with great kindness and competence to accompany visitors. The two ancient rooms require a not long visit, but it will enrich you both by discovering the importance that was already given to books in the time of Maria Theresa ..... and by observing the numerous terrestrial and celestial globes.

Five stars are few to reward the kindness of those who welcomed me and, above all, the competence, passion, courtesy, professionalism and the very pleasant voice (the Mantuan inflection is the icing on the cake) of the guide who accompanied me in this temple of the culture of the beautiful Mantua; by not spending even a penny, you learn a lot about the history of the city.
