Nonostante avessimo scelto Burgio come meta di una gita per visitare il museo delle ceramiche e le famose fonderie delle campane tutto si è concluso con un nulla di fatto: scarsissime le indicazioni turistiche, anzi nulle, il Municipio era il deserto dei Tartari e non sapevamo a chi chiedere, dopo alcuni giri inutili siamo giunti al museo che a mezzogiorno era chiuso, anche lì nessuna indicazione. Invece delle famose campane non si è vista neanche l'ombra. Peccato, forse la giunta comunale dovrebbe riflettere su queste carenze basterebbe pochissimo per attirare più visitatori. Ah dimenticavo, non abbiamo neanche trovato una trattoria per pranzare. Bocciato Unfortunately I can only give one star. Although we had chosen Burgio as a destination for a trip to visit the museum of ceramics and the famous bell foundries, everything ended with nothing: very little tourist information, indeed nil, the Town Hall was the desert of the Tartars and we did not know who to ask, after a few useless laps we came to the museum which was closed at noon, even there no indication. Instead of the famous bells not even the shadow was seen. Too bad, perhaps the city council should reflect on these shortcomings it would take very little to attract more visitors. Oh I forgot, we haven't even found a restaurant to have lunch. Failed

L'ingresso è libero e gratuito ed il personale ci ha fatto da guida con competenza. Per chi desidera visitare la Sicilia al di fuori dei soliti itinerari... Particular the ceramics present in this museum. More subdued colors, compared to the Caltagirone ceramics. Nice, definitely worth seeing.

The nice thing was that it was a guided tour through the museum so at least there was some type of history that I learned while visiting. Otherwise it would just be different ceramic pieces. And it is free to see.
