★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Monumento di ampie dimensioni eretto per celebrare la memoria dei caduti Sanremesi nella grande guerra. Imponente è realizzato in uno stile tardo neo-classico, molto retorico veicola comunque con efficica il messaggio celebrativo.
Large monument erected to celebrate the memory of the Sanremo fallen in the great war. Imposing is made in a late neo-classical style, very rhetorical however effectively conveys the celebratory message.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il monumento ai caduti di Sanremo (IMP) è posto in corso Mombello, affacciato su Via Roma. E’ costituito da un basamento parallelepipedo trapezoidale a base quadrata poggiato su quattro gradini e incorniciato in alto da un fascio littorio in bronzo che gira intorno a tutti i quattro lati, e termina con una struttura piramidale che originariamente fungeva da appoggio all’imponente gruppo scultoreo bronzeo andato perduto durante la seconda guerra mondiale. Su ciascun lato campeggia un'aquila bronzea con ali spiegate e festoni, simbolo della Vittoria.
The war memorial in Sanremo (IMP) is placed in the course Mombello, overlooking Via Roma. E 'it consists of a trapezoidal base parallelepiped with a square base resting on four steps and framed at the top by a bronze fasces that runs around all four sides, and ends with a pyramidal structure which originally served as a support imposing sculptural group bronze lost during the Second World War. On each side stands bronze eagle with spread wings and festoons, symbol della Vittoria.
