★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bel monumento, posato di fronte al Santuario nel 1873, in memoria della battaglia del 1859. È costituito da un obelisco posato su un basamento, entrambi in granito rosso. Sulla faccia a Est, un medaglione con il ritratto di Giuseppe Garibaldi.
Nel 1923 furono aggiunte le sculture in marmo di Carrara, rappresentati un fante e un Cacciatore delle Alpi, opera degli artisti comaschi Pietro Clerici e Natale Tattarletti. Le sculture poggiano su blocchi di roccia sedimentaria, cavata dalle colline limitrofe.
 Beautiful monument, placed in front of the Sanctuary in 1873, in memory of the battle of 1859. It consists of an obelisk placed on a base, both in red granite. On the east face, a medallion with the portrait of Giuseppe Garibaldi.
In 1923 the Carrara marble sculptures were added, representing an infantryman and a Hunter of the Alps, the work of the Como artists Pietro Clerici and Natale Tattarletti. The sculptures rest on blocks of sedimentary rock, quarried from the neighboring hills.
