★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Questo "coso" dovrebbe rappresentare l'elmo di Ettore Fieramosca, ma in realtà chiunque passi di là non può fare a meno di associare la forma e la decorazione esterna alle angurie. Qualcuno arriva a ipotizzare che il birichino scultore volesse ricordare la presenza lungo la strada, nella stagione estiva, dei cosiddetti "melonari", ovvero i venditori di angurie e meloni, ormai quasi spariti. Ai posteri l'ardua sentenza.
