Touristy place, but the beach offered SUP board rentals. That was awesome. Passport required for rental.

Very disappointed by the way this very nice beach is organized. Might be specific to Covid-19 time though. 3 parts in the beach: a free part organized in squares, but only 30 lots, so be (very very) patient! An extensive paying part with blue parasols: pay 15 to 30 EUR. And an as much extensive part with red parasols which is private: reserved for the season I was told, although most of the seats were empty! All in all, we just wanted to spend 1h in the sea after a straining hike in the hills and it was almost impossible to find a space. Private seats take up too much space! Very disappointing. Bad experience. (Note: beach material is not really sand, but rather small pebbles. not comfortable to the bare feet at all)

I love Monterosso I love all an atmosphere but the free beach i found too dirty. I went running in early morning i saw a fews mans were cleansing but on the footpath. But none on the beach. I found even a used pad hidning under the sand.. So gross!

The best beach in cinque terre can be found here. An amazing place for swimming and spending some quality time, possible to check it’s stunning views of monterosso village and possibly the mountains nearby. I would highly recommend visiting

I thought the beach was very quaint. You were spaced out from others but not too bad. The posts were close to the water so it was easy to get in and out of the water.

I recently visited Italy in summer 2021. This time I explored region ’Cinque Terre’. This region includes 5 villages in costal area. Monterosso beach is really nice but too crowded . We could enjoy amazing authentic Italian food around this beach. We visited all places by taking a day pass of boat and train. We could use this pass entire day. Car parking was quite problematic so public transport was best option. Summer is best time to visit this place. Visiting Cinque Terre was best part of my summer vacation.

One of the lesser famous beaches in Cinque Terra. The drive to the beach is particularly adventurous. The narrow roads meandering down the mountains. Sometimes you have to step aside when a larger van comes up in the other lane. The beach is transparent and chilly in July afternoons when we visited. We had a dive with our gopro and have taken incredible shots. It was a relaxing beach with rocks and sands.
