J	James Masterson on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In Monterosso, this is the beach to visit for relaxing fun and swimming away, especially if you don’t want the busy boardwalk above you. It’s a bit further than the more famous ones but still only about a 15 minute walk from the centro storico. You can also pop out for lunch at the many little seafood or focaccia places that are a 5 minute walk.
G	Gary Bamesberger on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perfect location. David the host is impeccable and has his act together, not overselling; he wants you to enjoy your stay. The apartment is not new, but well preserved, some parts like the shower have been updated. The true value of this place is in it's location to the sandy beaches. They are there right across the street. You can walk out the door, grab a beer and settle down in one of the private beach areas. When you return, you have a air conditioned, quiet and private room. That is worth the 5 stars.

Should consider being a bit more flexible with the seating...we arrived at 2:30 PM, 80% of the umbrellas were empty and we were seated in the 4th row. Other than that great lido.

They will do their outmost to block you from accessing the ocean water even though it is ILLEGAL to do so. If they stop you from accessing th eocean water, and you tell them that you do not want to use their umbrellas, it is illegal to do so. Call the Police.

Z	Zohre Azimi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overrated and dissapointing all I can think of when remembering my experience visiting here. I got there after 10 and I still couldn't find a spot with direct access to the sandy beach! Most of the beach is occupied with different umberlla companies, and they were all fully booked!! However, you can't find a website that let your reserve. It seems that the reservation for some of these places can be done via a phone call!! In a very limited hour of the day. And good luck getting someone to answer the phone! I think sunbed companies have monopolied the beach. There are in total 4 very small public beach that due to Covid need to be booked ahead via the city website, and it should be done at least 40 hours before visiting. Just keep it in mind even if you go there early there is not much possibility to access the sandy beach. However, if you are there and want to swimm badly (I needed to swim after 2 hours hike in summer) there is a rocky part within 50 meters distance from the parking area. You can put your stuff there and go swiming. Near the rocks and up to a good distance an average height person can reach the ground.

Swimming needs to be registered because of Covid (if you go to the public places, not if you take a sun bed in a “beach club”, registration also works at the beach).
