K	Klaus Winstel on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tolles Wanderziel, am besten zusammen mit dem Pizzo Pernice. Der 1280m hohe Gipfel des Monte Todum liegt auf der Grenze des Naturschutzgebietes Val Grande. Es bietet sich hier ein toller Ausblick über die Berge des Val Grande, sehr schöner Ausblick auf den Lago Maggiore. Technisch ist er recht einfach zu besteigen, aber es geht teilweise schon steil bergauf. Die Wanderung ist recht lang. Etwas Kondition ist schon nötig, gute Wanderschuhe sind ebenfalls empfehlenswert. Great hiking destination, preferably together with the Pizzo Pernice. The 1280m high summit of Monte Todum lies on the border of the nature reserve Val Grande. It offers a great view over the mountains of the Val Grande, very beautiful view of Lake Maggiore. Technically, it is quite easy to climb, but it is partly already steeply uphill. The hike is quite long. Some condition is necessary, good hiking boots are also recommended.
g	gigliotube on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bella escursione al Monte Todum da Cappella Fina di Miazzina Dal parcheggio con area pic-nic della cappella Fina, sulla sinistra diparte un'ampia strada forestale bloccata da una sbarra; da qui prende il via l'itinerario per raggiungere il "km verticale" che sale verso la cima del Todum. La prima parte dell'escursione è completamente in pianura immersi in una vegetazione fittissina di alberi. Giunti all'incrocio col percorso km verticale che sale da Cossogno il panorama si apre. La salita alla vetta non è poi così pesante e giunti in cima si può apprezzare un magnifico panorama su Verbania, il Lago Maggiore, il Mottarone, il Monte Rosa, le montagne a destra del Cusio e si scorge pure un pezzo del lago d'Orta. La sorpresa della gita sono state le tre Veline che si stagliano sul versante della montagna di rimpetto. In cima è presente un tavolo ed una pseudo panchina e si può firmate il libro degli ospiti. The surprise of the trip were the three Veline that stand out on the side of the mountain opposite. At the top there is a table and a pseudo bench and you can sign the guest book.

Presente anche libro di vetta ;-) Da qui si può proseguire verso il Pizzo Pernice lungo un sentiero che rimane tutto sulla panoramica dorsale che unisce le due cime, davvero consigliato!! Dal Pizzo Pernice per tornare alla cappella Fina si può poi utilizzare il sentiero che passa dall'Alpe Cavallotti. Beautiful peak at low altitude and easily accessible but with a wonderful view (especially facing Lake Maggiore). Summit book also present ;-) From here you can continue towards Pizzo Pernice along a path that remains all on the panoramic ridge that unites the two peaks, really recommended !! From Pizzo Pernice to return to the Fina chapel you can then use the path that passes from Alpe Cavallotti.
