Ideale per chi ha già esperienza di escursionismo, da evitare invece se la si sceglie come primo itinerario in assoluto. La stagione più bella in cui andarci è senza dubbio in pieno autunno per via dei bellissimi colori di cui si tingono la flora e i panorami circostanti, regalando viste mozzafiato! Prepararsi psicologicamente al fatto che lungo l'itinerario non ci sono rifugi, quindi assicurarsi di intraprendere quest'escursione con una giornata stabile o, in alternativa, sfruttare al massimo un'intera mattinata :) ! Wild peak, beautiful and, at times, challenging. Ideal for those who already have hiking experience, to be avoided instead if you choose it as the first itinerary ever. The most beautiful season to go there is undoubtedly in the middle of autumn because of the beautiful colors which are tinged with the surrounding flora and views, offering breathtaking views! Be psychologically prepared for the fact that there are no shelters along the route, so be sure to embark on this hike on a stable day or, alternatively, make the most of an entire morning :)!
M	Mach Speed on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sembra un escursione semplice, ma nn lo é affatto, da campo staffi si scende parecchio per poi risalire alla fine, all'uscita del faggeto dopo una bella salita mentre si scollina si pensa di essere arrivati, invece volgendo lo sguardo a Est si intravede la croce: ancora lontana e parecchio alta. Si procede sulla cresta lungo il sentiero non sicurissimo ma decisamente emozionante, un pezzettino mani e piedi e si arriva in vetta. Ho sottovalutato il monte Tarino peccando d'ignoranza: merita tutto il rispetto, dal basso dei suoi 1961mt It seems like a simple excursion, but it is not at all, from campo staffi you go down a lot and then go up again at the end, at the exit of the beech wood after a nice climb while you climb over the top you think you have arrived, instead turning your gaze to the East you can see the cross: still far away and quite high. J	J J on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Montagna fantastica, anche se non supera i 2000m, è comunque un piacere affrontarla, il percorso varia in continuazione con scenari naturali di tutti i tipi, prima parte con un percorso facile, accompagnato da una ruscello sul lato e spazi con prati naturali che sembrano curati dall'uomo per quanto sono perfetti, poi si finisce in una stupenda faggeta, si prosegue in un bosco differente prima di uscire a pochi metri dalla vetta, dove l'alta vegetazione sparisce e lascia il posto al panorama incredibile Fantastic mountain, even if it does not exceed 2000m, it is still a pleasure to tackle it, the route continues with natural scenarios of all kinds, first part with an easy route, accompanied by a stream on the side and spaces with natural lawns that seem to be taken care of man-made as they are perfect, then ends up in a beautiful beech forest, continue in a different wood before leaving a few meters from the summit, where the high vegetation disappears and gives way to the incredible landscape

Il dislivello è di circa 1200m e la salita è impegnativa, ma si viene ripagati ampiamente della fatica! Beautiful walk that goes from the sources of the Aniene to the top of the Tarino. The difference in altitude is about 1200m and the climb is challenging, but the effort is amply rewarded!
R	Roberto Russo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Posto meraviglioso. Dalla cima si vedono Lazio e Abbruzzo. Preso dal lato di Filettino offre un cammino in cresta estremamente suggestivo. Vale una camminata Alpina. Veramente un gioiello a due passi da Roma. Attenzione in Agosto è riserva integrale bisogna avvisare il parco. È certamente la passeggiata per antonomasia dei Simbruini. Sentiero segnato benissimo e ben tenuto. Wonderful place. From the top you can see Lazio and Abbruzzo. Taken from the side of Filettino, it offers an extremely suggestive ridge walk. It is worth an Alpine walk. Truly a jewel a stone's throw from Rome. Attention in August it is an integral reserve. It is certainly the walk par excellence of the Simbruini. Very well marked and well maintained path.
