G	Giuseppe Barra on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il sentiero che dal Pino del Monserrato porta alla croce è il n. 225 e si percorre in 45 minuti. Non è molto impegnativo a parte l'ultimo tratto di salita fino alla croce. E' possibile tornare indietro facendo un giro ad anello, ossia prendendo il sentiero 218 e poi il 205 che porta al santuario; da lì poi si continua a scendere per tornare al Pino. Il tratto che va dal sentiero 218 al Santuario viene classificato EE (escursionisti esperti). Secondo me chi ha un po' di confidenza con la montagna può farlo tranquillamente: c'è solo un breve tratto dove ci si può aggrappare a una corda di metallo e c'è da dire che il terreno è più scivoloso, più friabile, ma non ci sono dirupi pericolosi. Mia figlia di 9 anni è riuscita a scendere abbastanza tranquillamente ... ovvio, un po' di difficoltà l'ha avuta...ma si è comunque divertita! The path that leads from the Pino del Monserrato to the cross is n. 225 and it takes 45 minutes. It is not very demanding apart from the last part of the climb up to the cross. It is possible to go back by taking a loop, that is taking the path 218 and then the 205 that leads to the sanctuary; from there then continue to descend to return to the Pino. The stretch that goes from path 218 to the Sanctuary is classified EE (expert hikers). In my opinion, those who have a bit of confidence with the mountain can do it easily: there is only a short stretch where you can cling to a metal rope and it must be said that the ground is more slippery, more friable, but there are no dangerous cliffs. My 9-year-old daughter managed to get off quite easily ... of course, she had a bit of difficulty ... but she still enjoyed it!

Su uno spiazzo sterrato, lato sinistro, si trova l'imbocco del sentiero per raggiungere la vetta. Il percorso è veramente breve, camminando ma fermandomi più volte per foto e altro ci si impiega mezz'ora. La vista è fantastica, dimostrazione che non è l'altezza ma la posizione della montagna che fa la differenza. Da non perdere per gli amanti della montagna. You must follow the road from Porto Azzurro to Monserrato. On a dirt track, on the left side, is the entrance to the trail to reach the summit. The path is really short, walking but stopping several times for photos and other takes half an hour. The view is fantastic, demonstrating that it is not the height but the position of the mountain that makes the difference. Not to be missed for mountain lovers.

Panorama fantastico su Porto Azzurro, Capoliveri e le colline vicine, con possibilità di spingere lo sguardo su vari punti dell'isola. Il monte e' raggiungibile attraverso il sentiero 225 con partenza dal pino secolare (strada che conduce al Santuario del Monserrato, parcheggio in prossimità dell'inizio del sentiero) in 30-40 minuti, percorrendo circa 1,5 Km e 200 metri di dislivello. Il percorso e' facilmente percorribile (buona parte nel bosco), ma occorre prestare attenzione al tratto finale su roccia con discreta pendenza. Obbligatorio avere scarpe adeguate! Fantastic panorama of Porto Azzurro, Capoliveri and the nearby hills, with the possibility of looking at various points of the island. The mountain can be reached through the path 225 starting from the centuries-old pine (road that leads to the Sanctuary of Monserrato, parking near the beginning of the path) in 30-40 minutes, covering about 1.5 km and 200 meters in altitude. The route is easily practicable (much of it in the woods), but attention must be paid to the final stretch on rock with a moderate slope. Proper shoes are mandatory!
