★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perché si insinua in mezzo alla valle sopra il paese di Borgo e da qui ce un'ottima vista del paese e delle montagne circostanti, facile da raggiungere.
Because it creeps in the middle of the valley above the village of Borgo and from here there is an excellent view of the village and the surrounding mountains, easy to reach.

Raggiungibile da Borgo Valsugana strada SP40 della Valle di Sella (strada asfaltata e aperta tutto l'anno). In Località San Giorgio seguire indicazioni per Vivaio della Forestale, su strada sterrata. In prossimità del Vivaio, a sx, si prosegue su facile sentiero. Sito della Grande Guerra raggiungibile in circa 10 minuti di passeggiata, adatto a tutti.
Da un certo punto in poi non adatto a passeggini.
A San Giorgio non è proprio comodo parcheggiare l'auto.
Bella tappa per i ciclisti o passeggiata riposante ed interessante.
Infine Spettacolare veduta sulla Valsugana, sul Castello e su Borgo V. in particolare.
Departure from Località San Giorgio.
Accessible from Borgo Valsugana road SP40 of the Valle di Sella (paved road and open all year round). In Località San Giorgio follow signs for Vivaio della Forestale, on a dirt road. Near the nursery, on the left, continue on an easy path. Great War site reachable in about 10 minutes walk, suitable for everyone.
From a certain point onwards not suitable for strollers.
In San Giorgio it is not really convenient to park your car.
Nice stop for cyclists or a restful and interesting walk.
Finally Spectacular view of the Valsugana, the Castle and Borgo V. in particular.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bel sito risalente alla Grande Guerra. Osservatorio su la valsugana e batterie in caverna. Parzialmente restaurato. Pressoche' nulle le indicazioni da Borgo Valsugana per raggiungerlo. In loco presente segnaletica. Consiglio abbigliamento da trekking per la visita. Prestare attenzione.
Beautiful site dating back to the Great War. Observatory on the Valsugana and batteries in the cave. Partially restored. There are almost no indications from Borgo Valsugana to reach it. Signposted on site. I recommend trekking clothing for the visit. Pay attention.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Partendo dalla Località San Giorgio e al vivaio forestale ,su sentiero nel bosco ben tenuto con segnalazione si possono vedere le postazioni Rocchetta e arrivare sulla sommità del Monte Rocchetta dove si può ammirare la Valsugana .tempo di percorrenza 15 minuti .
Starting from the locality of San Giorgio and the forest nursery, on a path in the well-kept wood with signs, you can see the Rocchetta stations and arrive at the top of Monte Rocchetta where you can admire the Valsugana. Travel time 15 minutes.
