Una croce posta tra i massi dalla quale si gode una vista mozzafiato. Poco prima in una nicchia nella roccia una piccola statua di Santa Rosa. Un posto che ispira spiritualità e raccoglimento. Assolutamente da vedere. A wonderful place at the end of a well signposted route that starts from the Volpara coast above Bagnaia. A cross placed between the boulders from which you can enjoy a breathtaking view. Shortly before in a niche in the rock a small statue of Santa Rosa. A place that inspires spirituality and meditation. A must see.

Bastano solo 10-15 minuti per raggiungere la vetta, il sentiero è ben segnato e facilmente percorribile. ?️ All'arrivo la vista è sorprendente: la Croce bianca svetta su un ampio paesaggio che comprende il Monte Cimino, le pianure e i monti adiacenti a Vitorchiano, il borgo di Bagnaia... Un percorso bellissimo, con una bella meta, assolutamente consigliato e adatto a tutti! ? Among the many excursions, my favorite is definitely the ascent to Monte Crucis: simple and satisfying. ?? It only takes 10-15 minutes to reach the summit, the path is well marked and easily accessible. ?️ Upon arrival, the view is surprising: the White Cross stands out over a wide landscape that includes Monte Cimino, the plains and mountains adjacent to Vitorchiano, the village of Bagnaia ... A beautiful route, with a beautiful destination, absolutely recommended and suitable for everyone! ?

Monte Crucis si raggiunge facilmente percorrendo Strada Costa Volpara a Bagnaia (nei pressi del passaggio a livello, poco prima di arrivare nella Piazza principale). Dopo circa mezz’ora di camminata lungo questa strada asfaltata si arriva all’inizio del percorso nel bosco, contrassegnato da cartelli e bandierine rosse e bianche che vi indicheranno la direzione da seguire. Breathtaking panorama overlooking Bagnaia and its surroundings in a quiet and relaxing place, not to be missed! Monte Crucis can be easily reached along Strada Costa Volpara in Bagnaia (near the level crossing, just before arriving in the main square). After about half an hour of walking along this paved road you will arrive at the beginning of the path in the woods, marked by red and white signs and flags that will show you the direction to follow.
