Il monte Cardito, 1719 m, è una cima tondeggiante posta ad Ovest del Monte Terminilletto.
Per arrivare fin quassù, da Pian de' Valli, salire alla Sella del Vento, 1630 m circa, nei pressi della "Piccola Baita". Prendere la carrareccia a destra che, con largo giro, ne fiancheggia il versante Est e risalire fino alla prativa "Sella di Cardito", 1648 m (30').
Di qui, volgere a sinistra e risalire la costa erbosa fino alla cima (10').
Di lassù, belle vedute: da sinistra l'insellatura nominata "Valle dell'Organo", e la rocciosa vetta Sassetelli. Poco dietro il monte Terminillo; seguendo, l'aguzzo monte Terminilletto e, infine, l'isolato Terminilluccio con le antenne radio.
Superata la cima, verso Ovest, altro affaccio sulla piana Reatina e i Monti Sabini.

Mount Cardito, 1719 m, is a rounded peak west of Mount Terminilletto.
To get up here, from Pian de 'Valli, go up to the Sella del Vento, about 1630 m, near the "Piccola Baita". Take the cart track on the right which, with a wide circle, flanks the east side and climb up to the meadow "Sella di Cardito", 1648 m (30 ').
From here, turn left and go up the grassy coast to the top (10 ').
From up there, beautiful views: from the left the saddle known as "Valle dell'Organo", and the rocky peak Sassetelli. Just behind Mount Terminillo; following, the sharp Terminilletto mountain and, finally, the isolated Terminilluccio with the radio antennas.
After the summit, towards the West, another view of the Rieti plain and the Sabine Mountains.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Molto bello e abbastanza facile da raggiungere,anche con bambini piccoli. 30-40 minuti da Pian de Valli ,con una salita un po'più impegnativa alla fine, ma ne vale la pena perché arrivati in cima c'è un bellissimo panorama ché merita la fatica. Abbiamo trovato anche cavalli e asinelli beConsigliato a tutti anche con bimbi piccoli .
Very nice and easy enough to reach, even with small children. 30-40 minutes from Pian de Valli, with a slightly more challenging climb at the end, but it's worth it because when you get to the top there is a beautiful view that deserves the effort. We also found horses and donkeys well recommended to everyone even with small children.
