Peccato non ci sia uno spazio ampio per fermarsi con la macchina, però del resto a quasi 2000m non si può pretendere molto. Un posto da visitare, forse si potrebbero aggiungere delle tabelle informative sul luogo e sulla vicina città di Leonessa Very nice place! A fantastic view on the top of the terminillo! And above all, finding snow again in June is a rarity in this period. Too bad there is not a large space to stop with the car, however, at almost 2000m you cannot expect much. La strada sarebbe chiusa subito dopo il valico verso Leonessa, peccato perché tutt'a quella parte per quanto più stretta rispetto alla salita al Terminillo dalla parte Rieti attraversa un bellissimo bosco. La vista da quassù è meravigliosa. Wonderful pass along the Terminillo tourist between the Rieti side and that of Leonessa. The road would be closed immediately after the pass towards Leonessa, too bad because all that part of it, though closer than the climb to the Terminillo from the Rieti side crosses a beautiful forest. The view from up here is wonderful.

Mancano come al solito i controlli in strada dato che la presenza dei motociclisti rovina la tranquillità del posto. Excellent the ideal place for more or less demanding walks. Purtroppo la montagna è disseminata di rottami metallici di vecchi impianti di risalita, che sarebbe opportuno bonificare. I versanti nord ed est del Terminillo sono più integri e meno antropizzati rispetto al versante sud. Remarkable panoramic point and starting point to climb the Terminillo and the other peaks of the area. Unfortunately, the mountain is littered with scrap metal from old ski lifts, which should be reclaimed. The north and east sides of Terminillo are more intact and less man-made than the south side.

La bellezza di questi posti è indiscutibile, eccellenti per trakking, passeggiate naturalistiche, bike e molto altro. I paesaggi, sono meravigliosi sia nella stagione invernale dove a farla da padrona è ovviamente la neve, sia nel periodo primaverile dove i colori predominanti sono quelli dati dal risveglio delle piante dal "letargo" invernale. In qualsiasi momento dell'anno insomma si rimane ammaliati dalla bellezza di questi posti. Io ho approfittato per una semplice passeggiata rigenerante. Detto della bellezza mi lascia perplesso il fatto che un simile potenziale rimanga così sottovalutato, non mi pare ci siano grandi attività in loco, un po' la stessa sensazione provata a Terminillo. In ogni caso questa è una semplice opinione personale.. Per rilassarsi in mezzo alla natura scattando qualche bella foto è perfetto.
