★ ★ ★ ★ ★ È la parte più rocciosa del complesso montano del monte Novegno. Si staglia isolato guardando dalla pianura. All'interno un complesso di gallerie, postazioni di cannoni puntati sul passoxomo e sul pasubio.
It is the most rocky part of the mountain complex of Mount Novegno. It stands out isolated from the plain. Inside a complex of tunnels, guns placed on the passoxomo and on the pasubio.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Guardando il monte Novegno da sud, sulla sx spiccano due guglie rocciose che costituiscono il monte Calliano. Postazioni di osservazione e artiglieria hanno diverse grotte scavate durante la grande guerra.
La salita tipica è dal monumento ai caduti di Vallortigara (parcheggio), lungo la S.Caterina-Col di Xomo. In un paio d'ore si salgono i circa 700m di dislivello lungo sentieri segnati all'interno di un bosco. Da lì il panorama è molto bello a 360 gradi. Aggiungendo mezz'ora si può poi raggiungere il monte Rione.
Looking at Mount Novegno from the south, on the left there are two rocky spiers that make up Mount Calliano. Observation posts and artillery have several caves excavated during the great war.
The typical climb is from the monument to the fallen of Vallortigara (parking), along the S.Caterina-Col di Xomo. In a couple of hours you climb about 700m in altitude along marked paths within a wood. From there the panorama is very beautiful at 360 degrees. Adding half an hour you can then reach the Rione mountain.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cima secondaria del gruppo del monte Novegno, resa famosa durante gli eventi legati alla grande guerra; sede di una rete di un grosso sistema di difesa appartenente all'esercito italiano. Dalla cima si gode un bellissimo panorama. Attenzione all'ultimo tratto del sentiero, soprattutto in presenza di neve o ghiaccio.
Secondary top of the group of Mount Novegno, made famous during events related to the great war; home to a network of a large defense system belonging to the Italian army. From the top you can enjoy a beautiful panorama. Attention to the last part of the path, especially in the presence of snow or ice.
