Abbiamo fatto un piacevole giro ad anello e goduto di uno splendido panorama durante la merenda nell'area della malga. Appena partiti per il ritorno abbiamo incontrato un sacco di caprioli. Si arriva tramite una strada che si può tagliare tramite i sentieri, difficilmente transitabile dalle macchine per il fondo sconnesso e dalle bici in quanto la pendenza è davvero importante. In cima alla strada si apre questo grandissimo spiazzo dal quale si gode di una vista meravigliosa su tutta la valle del Leogra, dal Pasubio fino alla pianura di Schio e Santorso. Camminata di un'ora dal Monumento di Vallortigara, qualcosa meno. Da farci un salto, soprattutto quando fa caldo o quando si vuole distaccare dalla vita di città! One of the most beautiful places I've ever been, really! You arrive via a road that can be cut through the paths, difficult to pass by cars for the uneven ground and by bikes as the slope is really important. At the top of the road there is this huge open space from which you can enjoy a wonderful view over the entire Leogra valley, from Pasubio to the plain of Schio and Santorso. One hour walk from the Vallortigara Monument, something less. To drop by, especially when it's hot or when you want to disconnect from city life!

L	Luciano Scalco on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Malga posta circa a metà strada fra il Monumento ai caduti di Vallortigara, punto di partenza, e monte Rione (via Calliano). Posto su una terrazza naturale, si affaccia alla pianura e gode di un bel panorama verso ovest (gruppo del Carega) e verso sud (pianura). Raggiungibile col sentiero 411 in circa un'ora da Vallortigara (430m dislivello). Si può raggiungere anche in mountain bike per la carreggiabile che arriva fino alla malga con pendenze molto impegnative. Malga located about halfway between the war memorial of Vallortigara, the starting point, and Monte Rione (via Calliano). Placed on a natural terrace, it overlooks the plain and enjoys a beautiful panorama towards the west (Carega group) and towards the south (plain). Reachable by path 411 in about an hour from Vallortigara (430m difference in altitude). It can also be reached by mountain bike for the road that goes up to the hut with very demanding slopes.
