On the beach of Mondello (PA) there is neither a portion dedicated to free swimming, but the whole shore is dedicated to free bathing. The sea is crystal clear and I was amazed by the beauty of the place so close to a big city like Palermo.

Poi ti capita il diluvio universale..non solo perdi i soldi..ma non rispondono nemmeno ad una mail nella quale non chiedi un rimborso..ma chiedi un buono da usufruire una prox volta.. Non è per le 25e..buttate al vento.. Ma il buon senso! Absolutely negative .. Book in advance paying of course .. Then the universal deluge happens to you .. not only do you lose your money .. but they do not even reply to an email in which you do not ask for a refund .. but you ask for a voucher to be used once again .. It's not for 25e .. throw in the wind .. But common sense!

Personale gentile ma lo vedi solo dopo che superi il tornello tra l'altro non attivo. Vicini di postazione molto graziosi con cui mi trovo bene. Wonderful sea. Stations? Old deckchairs, dangerous platforms as being made of worn wood they are especially risky for children. Friendly staff but you only see him after you pass the turnstile which is not active. Very nice neighbors with whom I get along well.

Mondello è così piena e caotica, solitaria, pulita e talvolta con le acque sporche. La fascia di battigia lasciata libera è veramente irrisoria. I lidi sono troppo costosi I am from Palermo raised in Mondello. Beautiful and charming with different faces, day, night, winter, spring summer. Mondello is so full and chaotic, lonely, clean and sometimes with dirty waters. The strip of shoreline left free is truly negligible. The beaches are too expensive

Quello che non va è che, in base a chissà quale contratto stipulato anni e anni fa, l'amministrazione comunale sia schiava di una società privata che gestisce la spiaggia a modo suo, lasciando tanti lettini e ombrelloni vuoti e tante famiglie ammassate in 5 metri di battigia pur di non farsi spennare come i polli. Ennesima dimostrazione di ineffienza e menefreghismo dei politici locali che tanto hanno le loro tessere gratuite nei vari club privati della città. Siamo quindi venuti in questa spiaggia una giornata in settimana; spiaggia sporca, alle 9 del mattino già c'erano mozziconi a terra, lettini vecchi e malridotti con parasole lasso che non mantiene la posizione. Due docce funzionanti su sei. Che dire, mare stupendo ma spiaggia privata sconsigliata. Personale gentile ma servizi non soddisfacenti. Pessimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. Nota negativa anche la sporcizia che caratterizza la cittadina e il lungo mare di Mondello. V	Vincenza Conigliaro on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Personale gentile ma di numero assolutamente esiguo. Spiaggia pulita, ombrelloni e lettini un po datati. Le docce potrebbero essere migliori. Non apprezzo il fatto che gli spazi siano recintati sia verso la strada che verso il mare, lasciando una fetta di battigia all'uso pubblico ridicola che costringe i bagnanti non paganti ad affollarsi creando una calca umana poco dignitosa. Gli spazi ad uso privato dovrebbero essere assolutamente ridimensionati per una migliore fruizione di tutta la spiaggia che è e rimane pur sempre un luogo pubblico. First attempt on the 5th of August, for Lido Acqua Marina, no reservation, 60 mins cue, seaman said the last 5 people will get a place, but unfortunately no communication with the very unprofessional, impolite and incapable lady at the cashier, therefore no place, sent away, with a young boy after long standing. 2nd try for Bassa Marea, on the 18th bought for the 19th of August, payment confirmed, no trace of email with code for access the beach, no one to contact. Ok, I thought, something went wrong with the payment, but this seen today in CC-account. All in one: if you cannot manage it, then please pass the beach to somebody else!
