Giorni fa, con l'intenzione di approcciarmi da neofita ai corsi di arti marziali, mi presentai al "bancone" della segreteria della palestra e una volta spiegato al maestro Gennaro il mio intento di assistere, e ripeto solo di assistere, ad una prima lezione di approccio a quella che è un'arte marziale, lui mi mette subito davanti un modulo di iscrizione e, senza neppure mostrarmi la sala, inneggiava di continuo (in perfetto dialetto) a queste fatidiche 50€ di iscrizione che avrei dovuto pagare prima di visionare il corso in sé e prima di vedere la sala in cui mi sarei allenato... la definirei un'iscrizione alla cieca.
Tralasciando ciò (e il continuo insistere del maestro sul pagamento immediato), ciò che mi ha deluso è il fatto che il maestro, piuttosto che trasmettere ad un suo nuovo allievo un'iniziale passione verso la sua arte, si sia soffermato con insistenza sul fattore economico. Esperienza squallida, e non aggiungo altro.
Slack. Days ago, with the intention of approaching me as a novice to martial arts courses, I presented myself at the "counter" of the gym secretary and once I explained to Maestro Gennaro my intention to assist, and I repeat only to attend, to a first lesson of approach to what is a martial art, he immediately puts me in front of an enrollment form and, without even showing me the hall, he was constantly shouting (in perfect dialect) to these fateful € 50 of registration that I would have had to pay before viewing the course itself and before seeing the hall where I would train ... I would call it a blind registration.
Leaving aside this (and the teacher's continuous insistence on immediate payment), what disappointed me is the fact that the teacher, rather than transmitting an initial passion for his art to one of his new students, lingered insistently on the factor cheap. Squalid experience, and I don't add anything else.
