I think the date, August 18th, made a lot of difference, but easy to reach, just a step away from the station ... And there was room!

Parking like ok, places a little narrow, a lot of rubbish (especially glass bottles) but close to the subway that goes to the center ?

On ne se sent pas trop en sécurité pour dormir mais un des seuls parking gratuit.
Assez loin du centre de Milan mais facilement accessible en métro car la gare est à côté.
Pas de toilettes proches mais des magasins à moins de cinq minutes à pieds.
Quelqu'un a forcé la voiture et l'a ouverte mais ils n'ont rien prit heureusement.
Free parking with enough space but very very dirty and not reassuring.
You don't feel too safe to sleep but one of the only free parking lots.
Quite far from the center of Milan but easily accessible by metro as the train station is nearby.
No nearby toilets but shops within five minutes walk.
Someone forced the car and opened it, but luckily they didn't take anything.

La stazione di Lambrate prende il nome dall'omonimo quartiere di Milano ed é composta da 12 binari. É la quarta stazione ferroviaria di Milano dopo Milano Centrale, Porta Garibaldi e Rogoredo. La stazione é un ottimo punto di interscambio in quanto esiste la linea metropolitana verde MM2, bus di linee urbane e interurbane, tranviarie, filoviarie ed automobilistiche. Ottimo il parcheggio auto posto in lato Piazza Monte Titano anche se di sera non c'è adeguato controllo di polizia.
It is one of the several railway stations in the city of Milan located in the north-eastern area along the so-called "belt line". Lambrate station takes its name from the homonymous district of Milan and is made up of 12 tracks. It is the fourth railway station in Milan after Milano Centrale, Porta Garibaldi and Rogoredo. The station is an excellent interchange point as there is the MM2 green underground line, urban and interurban bus lines, tramways, trolleybuses and cars. The car park on the side of Piazza Monte Titano is excellent, even if there is no adequate police control in the evening.
