Special mention for the cheese counter: great variety and many goodies of various origins. Nice to get advice on buying and talking about food while tasting the products.

Se a questo di aggiunge la possibilità di fare l'aperitivo nella piazzetta antistante bevendo ottime selezioni di vino... Top. A Ravenna, di meglio, c'è molto poco.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So this is a delicatessen that will serve you it's fancy wares, and matching it with delicious regional wines.
Apart from being very hospitable but not overly so, the proprietor speaks English pretty darn well!
Do ask for a wine and cheese pairing with some bread and you'll get a very pleasant experience I'm sure.
