I	Ilary Toresini on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cosa c'è di meglio di un aperitivo?!?! Un aperitivo con vista!!! Locale molto bello e curato, personale fantastico, gentile e preparato. Ci sono cocktail per tutti i gusti (noi abbiamo preso un Garibaldi (Campari+aranciata amara), un apesol tas(aperol+cerata tassoni) ed uno sprtiz alla mela verde) ed un bel vassoio di stuzzichini deliziosi (nella foto si vede solo parzialmente, ma ci sono: taralli, patatine, uva, grissini, affettati, tramezzini, focaccia o pizza.... tutto diviso in modo equo per i commensali). Prezzi nella media dei bar cittadini. Il tutto adornato da una fantastica vista sul Duomo ed annessa piazza. Se non ci siete mai stati...passateci una volta, così, per curiosità. What's better than an aperitif?!?! An aperitif with a view !!! Very nice and well-kept place, fantastic, kind and prepared staff. There are cocktails for all tastes (we took a Garibaldi (Campari + bitter orange), an apesol tas (aperol + cerata tassoni) and a green apple sprtiz) and a nice tray of delicious snacks (in the photo it is only partially seen , but there are: taralli, chips, grapes, breadsticks, cold cuts, sandwiches, focaccia or pizza .... all divided equally for the diners). Prices in the average of the city bars. All adorned with a fantastic view of the Duomo and adjoining square. If you've never been there ... go once, like this, out of curiosity.

When you order your drinks, they come with a substantial selection of excellent appetizers at no additional charge. This caffe has both indoor and outdoor seating. It is always packed in the late afternoon and early evening. It is a good value. If you are outside, it is perfect for people watching as it faces the square and the Duomo.
L	L A on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Didn't think I will get snootiness in this part of the world, or nonsensical inflexibility that one sees in certain establishments in big cities. Ever since I arrived in Italy everyone (justifiably) complains about lack of tourists. So when I ask for half an hour for a quick post concert drink with a close view to the beautiful Duomo, since I am a tourist, I get told that empty tables are for four and I could sit in crowded back area with not much view to anything, leave alone to Duomo. I went to friendly Ai Portici next door instead, where I had salad earlier in the day, and after all this time those tables at the Metropolitan, at the front stayed empty. I could have had a drink, they could have taken the cash, and still had their tables for later, but no. Stupidity and lack of customer care on display.
