Inoltre, da visitare anche la parte esterna, ottimo posto per scattare qualche foto ricordo. Consiglio vivamente di visitarlo! Beautiful museum built without public funds by local young people. The #MeTe divided into various sections, traces the entire history of Siculiana. In addition, the outside is also worth a visit, an excellent place to take some souvenir photos. I highly recommend visiting it!

Un grazioso museo nel centro storico di Siculiana, inserito in un contesto di stradine riqualificate attraverso installazioni artistiche che rendono il quartiere accogliente e stimolante. Uno spazio ben curato che racconta la storia del territorio con le sue tradizioni, usi e costumi, spaziando da quelle agricole-pastorali alla vita quotidiana ed ai mestieri di un tempo, ed un ampia sezione dedicata all’epoca garibaldina ed in particolare al Siculianese Giuseppe Basile, cui il Museo è dedicato. Excellent destination for a "trip out of town"! A lovely museum in the historic center of Siculiana, inserted in a context of redeveloped streets through artistic installations that make the neighborhood welcoming and stimulating. A well-kept space that tells the history of the territory with its traditions, uses and customs, ranging from agricultural-pastoral ones to daily life and the crafts of the past, and a large section dedicated to the Garibaldi era and in particular to the Siculianese Giuseppe Basile, to whom the Museum is dedicated.

Visita inaspettata con tanta storia e tradizione sul territorio. Complimenti allo staff che lo cura con tanta passione. Nice surprise in the historic center of Siculiana Small but beautiful museum in the upper part of the historic center of Siculiana, adjacent to the Castle. Unexpected visit with so much history and tradition in the area. Congratulations to the staff who take care of it with such passion.
C	Christoph on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Schade, wir hatten uns am Donnerstag, den 15.7.21 auf den Besuch dieses Museums gefreut, da wir die vielen positiven Rezensionen gelesen hatten. Doch leider standen wir um 17.30 Uhr vor verschlossenen Türen und auch auf die Klingel reagierte niemand. Es wäre besser, die Öffnungszeiten rechtzeitig zu aktualisieren. It's a shame, we were looking forward to visiting this museum on Thursday, July 15th, 21st, as we had read the many positive reviews. But unfortunately we were standing in front of closed doors at 5.30 p.m. and no one answered the bell either. It would be better to update the opening times in good time.

Troverete le vie adiacenti molto curate e abbellite con opere d'arte spiegate con pannelli esplicativi. Dentro c'è un vero tesoro della cultura siciliana e non solo. Il bene è gestito da giovani volontari di un'associazione culturale, che rendono vivo il quartiere organizzando eventi nel periodo estivo. Location molto suggestiva, specialmente di sera. Sicuramente un'attrazione da vedere, consigliatissimo. The Mete is the museum of Siculiana, it is located just below the Chiaramonte Castle. You will find the adjacent streets very neat and embellished with works of art explained with explanatory panels. Inside there is a real treasure of Sicilian culture and beyond. The property is managed by young volunteers from a cultural association, who bring the neighborhood to life by organizing events in the summer. Very suggestive location, especially in the evening. Definitely an attraction to see, highly recommended.

Nelle viuzze adiacenti, installazioni artistiche e interventi di decoro urbano. Tutto merito di ALT, l'associazione che ha realizzato e gestisce (senza fondi pubblici) il #MeTe. Andateci!
