Due le campate e una sacrestia voltata a crociera. La campata laterare ha una volta a botte mentre quella principale ha il tetto composto da due cupole. Entrambi sono circolari la prima cupola, quella vicina all’ingresso, poggia su un cornicione composto da dodici segmenti, che simboleggiano probabilmente i dodici apostoli o le dodici tribù di Israele. Quella dove si trova l’altare è anch’essa circolare e sovrasta pavimento dell’area presbiteriale che forma un quadrato, l’insieme mi suggerisce simboli consueti del periodo dove il divino, il cerchio, si “incarna” sull’altare posto sul pavimento quadrato. Il cerchio e il quadrato rappresentano i due aspetti fondamentali di Dio: l’unità è la manifestazione divina. Il cerchio esprime il celeste, il quadrato il terrestre. In questa area sono sistemati i 5 simulacri dei 5 Misteri circondati da fiori e le candele che li illuminano nei di mercoledì e giovedì santo. I 5 simulacri di bella fattura verranno portati in processione la notte a cavallo del Giovedi e Venerdì Santo.
