★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Known as ortomercato, open to the general population only on Saturdays (9-12:30). The lowest prices are here, as low as 1/10 of the price you found outside, but be aware:
-They only sell complete boxes (several kilograms each, depending on the product), be prepared to carry
-Fruits and vegetables in the principal building; fish, meat and flowers across the street (via Cesare Lombroso)
-Many extremely cheap products are damaged, and no one is going to let you check beforehand. With little experience, you learn whom to trust and whom don't

I love to buy my food items in bulk. Here you get to buy Yam, Plantain, different varieties of fruits, meat ,fish and lots more. All at affordable prices. Little wonder it's called foody.
