★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely stunning setting, charming memorabilia on display, and the views are stunning. We were here for a wine tasting and tour as part of extra we had purchased with our vacation package. While the wine was lovely( we had a sample of 3 different offerings) the service was abrupt, and there was no tour. After driving 2 hours, we tasted all 3 and were on our way in 30 minutes. The highlight was actually the olive oil which had a distinctive peppery flavor

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Short stopover at the Enoteca. There are rooms but I didn't visit them. The view is beautiful from the road back down from the castle. The service in the Enoteca great and no charge to taste wine! The wine so so.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was enquiring about have my wedding at this venue, however was left with a bitter taste.
I emailled on the 24th April to ask if it would be possible to view the property and that we would be in the area only on the 27th and 28th… a number of emails and phone calls later still didn’t know what was happening. On the morning of the 27th was eventually told they were busy but could see us on the 29th which didn’t work as we had already arranged to view venues in Florence.
When I asked for the manager to call me (I believe her name was Stefania) both by email and by telephone never had a call or an email back. If this is how they treat potential new clients with a 6 figure budget… how would we be treated on the day. Really poor, genuinely not interested.
1 star rating based on the experience, pretty poor.
Not looking for a response, want to ensure other potential clients are aware of my experience.
