MA più volte ci siamo ritrovati ad aspettare con tempi biblici, non e colpa di chi serve ad i tavoli perché i camerieri sono sempre attenti e gentilissimi.. magari però nei giorni di pieno servirebbe una mano in più. Per il resto il cibo e sempre ottimo, e curato nel dettaglio e per i drink secondo me e il posto migliore di Alessandria ☺️ Always good, we have always had a very good time the drinks are fantastic and fun and the dishes very well cared for ... BUT several times we found ourselves waiting with biblical times, it is not the fault of those who serve the tables because the waiters are always attentive and very kind .. maybe, however, on busy days an extra hand would be needed. For the rest the food is always excellent, and with attention to detail and for the drinks in my opinion it is the best place in Alessandria ☺️

Ci sono stata per un pranzo di lavoro e mi sono trovata molto bene, dalla qualità del servizio alla qualità dei piatti. Finely furnished room in a decidedly youthful context. I was there for a business lunch and I was very happy, from the quality of the service to the quality of the dishes.

We went to eat for lunch and we found a nice surprise, the cuisine is really excellent with careful dishes and with the right portion. A nice surprise.

Ho preso “Velluto Rosa”, molto aromatico e piacevole anche per me che non sono amante dell’alcol. In seguito abbiamo mangiato piatti decisamente ben studiati e saporiti. L’unica pecca è l’attesa, troppo troppo lunga. Located in the center, very welcoming and with tasteful furnishings. My friends and I ordered a cocktail before dinner. I took "Pink Velvet", very aromatic and pleasant even for me who am not a lover of alcohol. Afterwards we ate very well thought out and tasty dishes. The only flaw is the wait, which is too long.

I camerieri e barman sono sempre gentili e sorridenti e i piatti buoni, fatti con ingredienti di qualità, particolari, mai banali e soprattutto abbondanti. Purtroppo devo necessariamente togliere due stelle per l'attesa: l'ultima volta abbiamo aspettato venti minuti per ordinare e quasi tre quarti d'ora tra l'antipasto e il primo e vedevamo che gente arrivata dopo di noi veniva servita prima. Siamo stati dalle 13:15 alle 15:30 solo per mangiare un antipasto e un primo e comunque il ristorante a quell'ora si stava già svuotando. Lo stesso era successo in un'altra occasione per un secondo ordinato già dalla prima comanda... Dopo averlo ricordato due volte ai camerieri non sapevamo se rimanere ancora ad aspettare o andarcene. Peccato perché i piatti valgono davvero tanto! I've eaten four or five times at Melchionni's and have never been disappointed with the dishes or the kindness of the staff. The waiters and barmen are always kind and smiling and the dishes are good, made with quality ingredients, particular, never banal and above all abundant. Unfortunately I have to take two stars out of the wait: the last time we waited twenty minutes to order and almost three quarters of an hour between the starter and the first and we saw that people who arrived after us were served first. We were from 1:15 pm to 3:30 pm just to eat an appetizer and a first course and in any case the restaurant was already emptying at that time. The same had happened on another occasion for a second ordered from the first order ... After reminding the waiters twice, we didn't know whether to wait any longer or leave. Too bad because the dishes are worth so much!

I piatti sono particolari, decisamente poco tradizionali. Hanno qualcosa di personale, quindi di positivo. Mi hanno sorpreso soprattutto i conchiglioni al baccalà. L'antipasto era perfetto aveva un bel equilibrio. Ho bevuto anche un cocktail anch'esso eccellente. La location è carina ma ha qualcosa di confuso. I prezzi sono bassi per la qualità dei piatti presentati, perché il filetto di manzo se non ricordo male era sotto i 20 euro. In conclusione lo consiglio e non poco! Restaurant with young and willing staff. I had a wonderful dinner. The guys are all nice and also available to guide you and give you advice on the menu. The dishes are particular, decidedly not very traditional. They have something personal, therefore positive. I was especially surprised by the conchiglioni with cod. The starter was perfect it had a nice balance. I also drank a cocktail which was also excellent. The location is nice but it has something confusing. The prices are low for the quality of the dishes presented, because the fillet of beef, if I remember correctly, was under 20 euros. In conclusion, I recommend it and not a little!
