★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A couple of nights ago my wife and I decided to try take out pizza from Maximilian. We had been wanting to try them for a while and we had walked by their store front earlier in the day so it was time. My wife and I are both vegan so we are always anxious to see what a restaurant can come up with for us. We sent a text to the chef/owner and he responded within just a few minutes - he gave us a list of what he could do for toppings - we text him back with what we wanted and when we wanted to pick it up (they do deliver as well).. We arrived on time and our two pizzas were ready. They looked and smelled great. The staff was very courteous and welcoming- Chef Lomanto was very busy but took the time to say hi to everyone
I was excited to try the pizza when we got home and I was not disappointed. It was one of the best pizzas I have ever had - it will be difficult to not go back every night. Actually the prices are so good you probably could go every night.
Definitely give them a try the next time you are thinking pizza.
BTW their menu is huge and is all online.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Being vegan in such a small Sicilian village has had its challenges so I was excited to learn that Chef Salvatore's pizza crust is vegan-friendly! And the pizzeria's large menu offers a huge selection of vegetables to choose from. I went with the tomato sauce, fried eggplant, black olives, and oregano. The combination of flavors was so amazing that I didn't even miss the lack of vegan cheese. I've been eating pizza since I was a toddler (I grew up in my grandparent's bar) and this is one of the best crusts EVER. He and his team deserve 5 stars and I'm already looking forward to my next Maximilian pizza!
