★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was lucky as it wasn’t very busy when I arrived (about 1pm on a Friday in December!) but soon got a lot busier! My Italian is non-existent so it was challenging trying to figure out what to order while the queue is rapidly building up behind me as there is a lot of choice (and all in Italian). It was almost overwhelming but one of the staff members, Luigi, was an absolute superstar. He was friendly, spoke English really well and helped to recommend an amazing platter with a Spritzk (an aperol drink) for a princely sum of €12. A fantastic taster of local hams, cheese, etc at very good value. I grabbed a table at the back and was able to enjoy it all without feeling rushed. Big thanks to Luigi for helping me navigate the menu and for making me feel so welcome! ❤️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great unpretentious street food. The sandwiches are excellent and the panzerotti are a must. This is a great place for cheap eats. Try the octopus sandwich if it’s your thing - yum.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very well run place! Its busy, though the staff are overly friendly, numerous and helpful. Especially good with allergies. They really care about the service and the quality of their product, its impressive, Had a pasta cooked my MIMMO and it was superb, in addition to an Octopus sandwich, super soft. Hats off to everyone involved.

There was a line every time we passed it by but they have tickets and it moves fast.

Huge anticipation with disappointment really. The bread is nice but bottom was wet (by burrito) so not very pleasant. My salad is toasted / burned after reheat, quite unnecessary and I wasn’t given an option. The pupozz was cold when served.
To me the worst part was the octopus, as it was already pretty well cooked, reheat means it turned very tough and dry, it ruined it all.
I gave 2 stars as an appreciation to the good service from the staff. I think you may need to rethink how this can be served.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I guess it’s the most touristic place around Bari “Vecchia” to eat something. The staff was friendly. Many types of burger/sandwiches looks cool and adequate to fill you up with the menu option. It is not ideal to feed in bc of limited tables and tiny area. As a taste, octopus(u pulp) pleased me on average. Ciccio would be a fair nacket of your Bari Trip.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Initially It’s all about serving volume at this place and not about customer service at all. We are vegetarian and since nothing was available except for the pasties, we got the ricotta one. The pasty crust wasn’t baked and it smelled so weird that we had to talk to the manager about it. Guess what? The manager told us to deal with it as they don’t care about if individual customers like it or not.
Oh I certainly never expected this from the top rated restaurant. Usually back in other places, we get an apology and ask if we like something else along with some more details about what was wrong.
Then finally Mr Filmon came to us and spoke about it and replaced it with an alternative vegetarian option for our satisfaction. He brought in another colleague of his who was really apologetic about what happened to us. This is now turning to be more customer centric. I really only appreciate his and her services m. He ensured almost everyone around there was happy with whatever they have got in and shared loads of suggestions. Such a jovial personality and I am sure he deserves a huge appreciation and promotions may be.
Hopefully I would like the food next time I pop over.
