★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Siamo stati a cena in dodici amici. Ci hanno consigliato il menù di terra e ci siamo fidati. Ci hanno subito strabiliato portandoci un'antipastino su un tagliere lungo almeno due metri e mezzo, se non tre, su cui c'erano affettati di salumi e di formaggi. Salame piccante, soppressata, prosciutto, caciocavallo podolico maturato nei chicchi di mosto (buonissimo), caciocavallo pepato, ricotta fresca. Sotto il tagliere sopraelevato ci hanno servito anche polpette di carne, provola affumicata con speck e funghi, mortadella arrostita, parmigiana di melanzane (un po' insipida per la verità) e altro che ora non ricordo).
Dopo l'antipastino, visto che avevamo ancora fame, ci hanno portato bistecca di scottona (delicatissima) e porchetta con provola e patate.
A seguire dolci, che non ho assaggiato (vedete voi!), ma che gli amici hanno molto gradito.
Infine amari di tutti i tipi (limoncello, finocchietto, pistacchiello), un amaro con una nota mandorlata (che ho apprezzato più di tutti gli altri) ed una grappa buona, ma senza grandi pretese.
Un'abbuffata colossale! ("Abbuffarsi con stile", recita il loro motto impresso sulle maglie).
Se non cercate un bel localino dove impressionare l'amante o la fidanzata, ma volete mangiare bene, tanto ed al prezzo giusto questo posto è veramente degno di nota. Fidatevi!
Twelve friends had dinner. They recommended the land menu and we trusted it. They immediately amazed us by bringing us an antipastino on a cutting board at least two and a half meters long, if not three, on which there were cold cuts and cheeses. Spicy salami, soppressata, ham, podolic caciocavallo matured in grains of must (very good), peppery caciocavallo, fresh ricotta. Under the raised cutting board they also served meatballs, smoked provola with speck and mushrooms, roasted mortadella, aubergine parmigiana (a bit insipid to tell the truth) and more that I don't remember now).
After the appetizer, since we were still hungry, they brought us steak of heifer (very delicate) and porchetta with provola and potatoes.
Following sweets, which I have not tasted (you see!), But which friends have greatly appreciated.
Finally, amaro of all kinds (limoncello, fennel, pistacchiello), a bitter with an almond note (which I appreciated more than all the others) and a good grappa, but without great pretensions.
A colossal binge! ("Binge with style", says their motto imprinted on the shirts).
If you are not looking for a nice little place to impress your lover or girlfriend, but you want to eat well, a lot and at the right price, this place is really noteworthy. Trust me!
