Se non fosse stato per la distanza che ci separava, tra me e la mia ragazza di allora, non avrei trascorso due mesi niente male. A san Vito vicino Taranto e direttamente sullo Ionio... a due passi dall'Africa! Unforgettable memories at the schools for non-commissioned officers C.E.M.M. during the Leverage Service in the Navy. If it hadn't been for the distance that separated us, between me and my girlfriend at the time, I wouldn't have spent two months at all. Immersa nel verde è vista come un campus universitario, dove vengono preparati i marinai ad affrontare il lavoro sia a terra che a bordo. Oltre a preparare militarmente il personale, offre una preparazione professionale di ottimo livello. Quasi tutti gli edifici sono o stanno per essere ristrutturati. La zona di San Vito deve molto a questa Scuola che è fondamentale per l'economia del posto. The non-commissioned school of the Navy of Taranto prepares students for the role of marshals, sergeants and troops. Surrounded by greenery, it is seen as a university campus, where sailors are prepared to face work both on land and on board. In addition to militarily preparing the staff, it offers excellent professional preparation. Almost all buildings are or are being renovated. La scuola sottufficiali della Marina Militare ha sede in uno dei quartieri residenziali della città, a due passi dalla stessa (6,9km) e facilmente raggiungibile con tutti i mezzi cittadini (macchina, bus, taxi). Nella zona ci sono numerose attività commerciali, ristoranti, b&b, ufficio postale e nel periodo estivo numerosi stabilimenti balneari. La scuola ha una estensione abbastanza importante ed al suo interno ci sono tutti i servizi relativi alla permanenza stabile del personale militare e degli allievi. Alla fine dei corsi si tiene il giuramento alla presenza delle autorità. Large, indeed very large military structure of the city of Taranto. The school has a fairly important extension and inside there are all the services related to the permanent stay of military personnel and students. At the end of the courses, the oath is held in the presence of the authorities.
