★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I Mannari erano, fino a qualche decina di anni fa, il luogo di ricovero per ovini dei pastori di Caltavuturo. Gli ovili sono realizzati con pietre a secco, di forma circolare. Molto belli da visitare. Interessante anche il pagliaio presente all'interno.
The Mannari were, until a few decades ago, the place of shelter for sheep of the shepherds of Caltavuturo. The sheepfolds are made with dry stones, of circular shape. Very beautiful to visit. The haystack inside is also interesting.

Wir haben uns zunächst etwas in der Stadt verfahren- Achtung sehr schmale Gassen - aber dafür bei Verkäufern von Obst und Gemüse frisch vom Wagen kaufen können :) weiter oben angelangt ist der Eingang zu terravecchia, einem ort mit Ausgrabungen und weiteren interessanten Bauten- und das beste, man hat einen unglaublich tollen Ausblick auf die Berge un und die Stadt selbst... wir waren die einzigen dort oben und es war richtig schön- ein Geheimtipp!!
Absolute insider tip !!! First we went a little way in the city- Attention very narrow streets - but for sellers of fruit and vegetables fresh from the car can buy :) further up the entrance to terravecchia, a place with excavations and other interesting buildings and the best, you have an amazing view of the mountains and the city itself ... we were the only up there and it was really nice - a secret !!
