β β β β β Great Japanese Brazilian fusion food here.
If you expect to get traditional Japanese sushi then this is not the place for you. However, if you're open minded and want to try something a little different then by all means give this place a try.
The food tastes great and is reasonably priced. I would also recommend having a look at the cocktail menu as there are some very interesting and inventive drinks you may enjoy!

β β β β β The food here is surprisingly good, and the staff is kind and attentive. We had a lunch portion of Pichania and it was cooked and flavored really well. I also had some sushi and the potions were hefty and the flavor was perfect.
It is a little pricey, but they are clear about what is fresh and have a nice outdoor area. Check it out.

β β β β β Manioka has four things I rarely found in a single restaurant in Rome: Fresh fish, a place quiet enough to carry on a conversation despite my hearing aids, cool (air conditioned) space and brilliantly clean bathrooms. On a hot June day, I appreciated all four! Wait staff was thin, and we also had slow service. Plus, a $4 "service charge" was automatically added to Our bill!

β β β β β Iβve been always skeptical on fusion cuisines but when I tried Manioka I had to change my mind. I really enjoyed the Brazilian sushi and their mango sauce is divine. Nice atmosphere even though it is located underground with few tables outside. The staff was friendly and available to give suggestions.

β β β β β Very nice sushi restaurant with a friendly staff, great drinks and delicious sushi. The staff were the highlight of the evening, attentive, friendly and delivering our orders in a timely manner. The sushi was fresh, tasty and very photogenic. Due to being in the center, parking is a bit limited but it's right next to the Circo Massimo metro and tram stop. Will definitely revisit!
