Shameful / Vergognoso In November 2018 I went to Mancini Gomme in Viale de la Pace and paid €250 to get 2 tires replaced. I assumed I was getting new Michelin tires, but I was wrong. A year later when I got an oil change at another mechanic I was notified that two of my tires were manufactured in 2008; that is more than 10 and 1/2 years ago. A couple weeks ago I visited Mancini Gomme and spoke to the owner’s brother. I asked him how old are the tires they install in cars. He informed me that tires are manufactured 2 or maybe 3 years ago. Do you see a discrepancy here? When I confronted him and showed proof that the tires they installed on my car were manufactured 10 and 1/2 years ago his attitude changed. He became defensive and told me I should have checked the tires before I left the shop, and also that I cannot make a claim after a year has passed. I told him that I trusted his business and I didn’t check the tires but that they shouldn’t have installed 10-year-old tires. I received no apology and he blatantly (and rudely) disregarded my claim. I contacted Michelin headquarters and they confirmed that is not a good practice to install tires manufactured 10 years ago!! I emailed the owner and arranged a meeting. I took a translator (Italian citizen) with me for better communication. The treatment was similar. I received no apology; they told me that for them, the tires were new. Unbelievable!! They did not take responsibility on their “mistake”, nor did they think it was abnormal... He offered me to change the 2 tires and install new ones for €100 extra. Unbelievable again!! Any reputable business would have apologized, installed the tires that they should have installed a year ago, and wished me a good day. That is not how they do business here. Instead, he insisted on the fact that I drove the car for a year and I had absolutely no problems. When I told him that I did not agree to pay (since I already paid the full €250 for 2 tires), I asked for a refund. He refused, stating that for them the tires are new. Here’s where we wondered how many customers (Americans, since they are located across from Caserma Ederle and Italians) have been installed tires that are 10 or more years old...After 30 minutes of going back-and-forth he became agitated and called me to a separate room. He aggressively asked me how much money I wanted and threw €100 cash on top of the desk. In addition, he told me I am not allowed to enter his business again. Really? Do you think I was going to come back? In conclusion, I am still driving with 2 tires from 2008. Mancini Gomme is not a trustworthy and honest business, and basically sells you a product that is not worth the full price. Unprofessional, the situation was very poorly handled. What makes things even worse: my wife was talking to a co-coworker and this co-worker experienced the same situation at the same location!! Luckily, they noticed they installed old tires and staff at Mancini acted as if it was an error. They replaced them on the spot… Shameful.

Outstanding service! Went in with a flat tire and in under 20 minutes everything was done. Would highly recommend to anyone. Thank you Mancini Gomme s.r.l.

Great service, did not pay TVA (IVA)

I have used their services for over 10 years and have always been extremely satisfied with the service, price, speed, at their attitude. I always recommend my friends, colleagues, and really anyone I know who need tire, or wheel alignment work done to use Mancini.

I showed up randomly, and they instantly began work. They changed my tires, mount and balanced in around 30 to 45 minutes. Excellent customer service. Midas by Leroy Merlin didn't even want to help. They wanted me to wait until next week. Give these guys a hand. I saw 5 others stop while I was there and they got on it right away. Don't go to the scam artists around town.

English speaking friendly! Needed two new tires for last min car inspection and they got it done fast under 20mins!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Spent €250 for two all season tires and left a happy customer.

Replaced popped tire, properly inflated all tires including spare, completed in under 5 minutes and only $30. Fastest tire change we've ever had. Good customer service and friendly staff.
