We had a tasting on Saturday, there were many of us and we were all really happy and amazed. We had the opportunity to taste 6 beers + 1 bonus, one better than the other and we discovered that there really is a world behind a simple mug. For beer lovers it is an experience to do absolutely

Once you have drunk their beer you will stop drinking beer. Since I met them, I either drink their bottles or drink still water. The same thing happens to me with pesto. Either I eat mine or I don't eat it. At Maltus there are really top Master Brewers

Davvero consigliato.
I gave the guided tour of this brewery to my partner for his birthday and it was very much appreciated. Massimo, one of the two founders, accompanied us on a journey through the history of beer and this brewery. The visit was fun, Massimo is an inexhaustible source of knowledge accompanied by a lot of passion and anecdotes to tell, you can ask him anything about the beer universe and you will find him prepared. The excellent tastings acquire an added value also thanks to the location. Really recommended.

Maltus Faber brewery opened in 2007 in a nearby building and moved to this location in 2016. It occupies the front part of a huge salmon and white colored multistory building which was itself a massive brewery from 1906. The old brewery was later purchased by Heineken and then eventually closed. The new Maltus Faber brewery operating here specializes in a great variety of international style ales. To visit, drive into the center of a complex of buildings and you’ll find a few dedicated parking spaces for the brewery. Inside you’ll be greeted by an employee and offered a sample of their beer. The open tasting room is not a large place, with only a couple wooden tables and a small walkup tasting bar. They have 6 beers on tap which they are happy to share, and often have opened bottles of several other varieties to pour samples. The brewery staff is very welcoming and cheerful, and they are happy to give a quick tour into the brewery if they are not busy with bottle sales. The tasting area is partitioned by a chain, behind which are tall racks of brewing supplies. The room has a brown concrete floor and very high ceiling, and the brewing equipment is back on the left. Naturally there is a bottle shop in the brewery, with black bookcases of beer in large and small individual bottles, as well as packs. I recommend enjoying a variety of their well made beers. My favorites were their Imperial Stout, Extra Brune, and Belgian Triple.

This is a brewery with beer that might be too good for Italy alone. Very friendly and competent presentation in English of products and the brewery. Everything I tasted was faultless beer in the Belgian tradition. Bottles of 750ml was 7 euros. Bought three. I had a really good time!!!
