Gli uramaki sono uno spettacolo come il sushi. Cocktail buonissimi e vasta scelta. Davvero ottimo! Così, per quasi un anno non ho più mangiato sushi. Finché non ho scoperto Makai, di gestione italiana, e da quel giorno non rimpiango nessuno dei ristoranti giapponesi in cui ero solita andare, anzi! Non c‘è mai stato un problema: atmosfera stupenda, servizio impeccabile (qualche volta c’è un attimo di attesa tra un ordine e l’altro, ma sono subito pronti a rimediare), ma soprattutto, una qualità eccellente. Costa qualche euro in più rispetto agli standard AYCE, ma è di tutt’altro livello! Inoltre, il menù è lo stesso sia per pranzo che per cena e si può consultare sul loro sito o Instagram. Provatelo, fidatevi! Before the pandemic started, I always went to the classic Asian-run AYCEs, but since the reopening after the first lockdown I had promised myself to favor local businesses. So, I haven't eaten sushi for almost a year. Until I discovered Makai, of Italian management, and since that day I do not regret any of the Japanese restaurants I used to go to, quite the contrary! There has never been a problem: wonderful atmosphere, impeccable service (sometimes there is a moment of waiting between one order and the next, but they are immediately ready to remedy), but above all, excellent quality. It costs a few euros more than the AYCE standards, but it is of a completely different level! Furthermore, the menu is the same for both lunch and dinner and can be consulted on their website or Instagram. Try it, trust me!

Il richiamo tropicale dell'ambiente si fa forte nel gusto degli uramaki preparati con maestria e ingredienti di qualità, formula all you can sat moderna, che consente di gustare una quantità adeguata di piatti. Non è sicuramente il solito ristorante giapponese. Per chi non ci è mai stato consiglio di chiedere prima come funziona il meccanismo dell'ordinazione. Devo fare però una piccola critica: il riso in alcuni piatti era scotto, e quindi poco consistente. Si faceva fatica a prenderlo con le bacchette. Inoltre, le tartare sono piccole e se ne possono ordinare 2 a testa. Per la terza o successive occorre pagare a parte. Il cibo e la qualità del pesce però ottime. First of all, a really nice and clean place. Super friendly and helpful staff. Good variety of dishes, very particular. It is definitely not your usual Japanese restaurant. For those who have never been there, I recommend that you ask first how the ordering mechanism works. However, I have to make a small criticism: the rice in some dishes was overcooked, and therefore not very consistent. It was hard to catch it with chopsticks. Also, the tartare are small and you can order 2 each. For the third or subsequent one, it is necessary to pay separately. However, the food and the quality of the fish are excellent.
