★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il Chiostro ospita ogni giorno il mercato delle erbe ed è per questo anche identificato col nome di Piazza della Verdura ; vicino a Piazza del Popolo ed al teatro Ventidio Basso.Al centro dell’area si scorge il pozzo, finemente decorato con colonnine di gusto gotico. Adiacente all'area del chiostro si trova l'aula dell'Oratorio di San Francesco, ora Sala Cola dell'Amatrice per via di alcuni affreschi attribuiti a Cola dell'Amatrice raffiguranti temi dell'Antico Testamento, restituita alla città di Ascoli nel mese di marzo del 2012, dopo un'attenta ed accurata opera di restauro.
 The Cloister hosts the herb market every day and is therefore also identified with the name of Piazza della Verdura; near Piazza del Popolo and the Ventidio Basso theater. In the center of the area you can see the well, finely decorated with Gothic-style columns. Adjacent to the cloister area is the hall of the Oratory of San Francesco, now Sala Cola dell'Amatrice due to some frescoes attributed to Cola dell'Amatrice depicting themes from the Old Testament, returned to the city of Ascoli in the month of March 2012, after a careful and accurate restoration work.

The cloister is located behind the church on S. Francesco and near Piazza del Popolo. Characteristic place of the city of Ascoli Piceno where, in a few days, a small vegetable market takes place. It is to be admired for its beauty and gives the visitor a sense of inner peace and silence.
