I had read very well about this place on the various reviews, unfortunately my experience was not positive at all. Booked well in advance for 1:30 pm on Easter Monday, arrived on site, since there was no parking (assuming I was coming from Macerata) we called to warn that we were late for a few minutes, they also replied thanks for your kindness, the problem is that when we arrived the table ... was not there! They told us that we had to wait 20, then 10 minutes waiting for someone to get up, among other things a whisper between them "they arrived now how do we do?". We would have to make do at a table set up in a hurry in the back alley, with no cover and with people who had to do the slalom to pass. How do you eat? I don't know ... I just know that we had to make do in another way ... oh well, patience

Ottimo ristorante.

I apologize for the photos, very dark, we ate in the street next to the restaurant, where the restaurant has space for the tables, which are therefore poorly lit outdoors, there is still availability of indoor seats with a green pass . Friendly and welcoming staff with sanitizing gel mask present. Variety of the menu contained, the dishes present are mostly typical and the prices low. Three people with two appetizers, three first courses, three side dishes, two waters and a wine, three coffees € 60, in the evening in the center! Very good quality of the dishes, abundant super recommended, we will definitely be back!

La Loc Bandiera is a restaurant near the center of Ascoli Piceno, without too many pretensions but with an interesting quality. I went for a quick lunch, choosing campofiloni al ragù, thin spaghetti typical of this area. The ragù was good and definitely * a lot *, with a quality and taste on par with what I'm used to in Bologna! The creme brulee is much less good, but I think it was packaged and not homemade. The bill also turned out to be low: first course, dessert, and water at € 15, absolutely honest. I had to ask for it 2-3 times before I could pay, but oh well it can happen. Overall, I recommend going to the Locanda if you are in Ascoli and you want a light meal but still absolutely up to it! ?

Ascoli Piceno for starters (no pun intended) is well worth a visit. Fantastic architecture and scenery to view. We went at 4.30pm which seemed about right to have look round try various bars and then decide on dinner. The restaurant was not one of the many in the main piazzas, but easy to find. Once inside and sat down as a table for 10 a staffing nightmare we all ordered our meals. This is where being foreign and thinking you know what has been asked for comes back to bite you. We ordered 3 lots of antipasti for the six adults. The children would have to beg on the street till the main course arrived . What can I say the starters came at regular intervals and just kept coming. Little pieces of pasta, mascarpone olives in a lovely coating and my favourite fried custard balls, I kid you not. If in Italy you have tried a bomboloni creme a custard doughnut then these little balls were to die for. This was the problem we were full before the main course but itching to try more. The mains then arrived. Beef dishes lamb cutlets pasta for the children and me I had tagliatelle with zucchini broccoli pig cheek with cheese and other goodies. All agreed that the food was good as were the staff and service. And the price of €148 was to my liking as I paid. Go and enjoy a nice evening meal Amen.
