The most beautiful national park, many interesting walks, of all difficulties, widely panoramic compared to the large stone, rich in fauna and flora, well-managed paths, marked and indicated, also for the Fusco path there are two fountains where you can drink. Highly recommended for short and medium long hikes.

One of the 3 spectacular Abruzzo national parks, full of picnic areas, shelters, paths and peaks to reach. As absurd as it may seem, it has nothing to envy to the panorama of the Alps, and if you are lucky with the weather from a good altitude you can even see the Adriatic Sea. The wildlife is wonderful and is often visible to the naked eye.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The imposing mountain group is known to the locals as the Montagna Madre (Mother Mountain), and which was called by Pliny the Elder the Padre dei Monti (Mountains’ Father). Along with the Porrara, the Morrone and the Monte Pizzi, the Majella Massif makes up the Majella National Park, which spans the provinces of Pescara, L’Aquila and Chieti.
