Un tempo un mondo incantato con oggetti curiosi,arredi,gioielli e naturalmente gli splendidi abiti di Martin.
Che dire...il marchio si è globalizzato(proprietà gruppo Diesel),Martin non c'è più da 8 anni,i prezzi rimasti alti e si lanciano più profumi che nuove idee.
Il corso di John Galliano è forse più appetibile per la donna,soprattutto nella linea artisanal.
Del negozio sono rimasti gli splendidi tappeti con disegni grigi a listelli di legno,il bianco verniciato ovunque,la scala che scende al piano interrato rivestita e qualche espositore.
Peccato non esistano più le linee casa di mobili e oggetti curiosi.
Martin Margiela's first historic Milanese boutique, slightly hidden in a small square in via Spiga.
Once an enchanted world with curious objects, furnishings, jewels and of course Martin's gorgeous clothes.
What can I say ... the brand has globalized (owned by the Diesel group), Martin has been gone for 8 years, the prices have remained high and more perfumes are launched than new ideas.
John Galliano's course is perhaps more attractive to women, especially in the artisanal line.
Of the shop there are still the splendid carpets with gray wooden strip designs, white varnished everywhere, the staircase that goes down to the covered basement and some exhibitors.
It is a pity that the home lines of furniture and curious objects no longer exist.
