Più di una volta ho dovuto cestinarli, a causa del colore terribile e del pessimo odore che emanavano. Ormai c'ho messo la croce, anche perché difronte c'è la migliore macelleria della zona, che ha sempre prodotti di qualità indiscussa, ricercati e freschi di giornata. Tra l'altro ho più di qualche sospetto sulla bontà delle recensioni positive, che sono curiosamente quasi tutte identiche... Freshness and sincerity are not at home. E' accaduto ancora qualche anno fa, credo fosse ancora all'inizio della nuova gestione ma, da quella volta, non ho mai più smesso di servirmi da loro. La carne è più che ottima, di primissima qualità, sana e fresca. Il servizio ineccepibile e la cortesia dei gestori davvero impeccabile. Molte sono state le occasioni in cui ho avuto ospiti a cena a casa mia e in molte di esse ho servito la carne acquistata presso questo esercizio ricevendone pareri soddisfatti ed entusiasti. La disponibilità del gestore è davvero ampia tanto nel servizio, quanto nel confezionamento, a richiesta, di preparati differenti da quelli già esposti. Altissima la qualità anche dei prodotti non strettamente legati al settore macelleria (formaggi, contorni e sughi non a base di carne). Io non abito in zona e, certo, i quasi 40 Km che faccio per andare a comprare la carne da Augusto e tornare a casa sono sicuramente molti, ma "ben spesi", se mi passate il gioco di parole. The meat is more than excellent, of the highest quality, healthy and fresh. The impeccable service and the courtesy of the managers really impeccable. There have been many occasions when I had guests for dinner at my house and in many of them I served the meat purchased at this exercise and received satisfied and enthusiastic opinions. The availability of the manager is really wide both in the service, and in the packaging, on request, of preparations different from those already exposed. Very high quality even of products not strictly related to the butchery sector (cheeses, side dishes and non-meat sauces). I do not live in the area and, of course, the almost 40 km that I do to go and buy meat from Augustus and go home are certainly many, but "well spent", if you give me the pun. If I recommend it? Yes of course!
